"A composer's music should express the country of his birth, his love affairs, his religion, the books which have influenced him, the pictures he loves. It should be the sum total of a composer's experiences."
Over the past 10 years, the Rachmaninoff Network has produced over 15,000 digital images of historic photographs, documents and objects. Our aim is to make this material digitally accessible for worldwide research into the life and work of Sergei Rachmaninoff. That is why we have conceived the plan to develop an online searchable database: the Sergei Rachmaninoff International Database.
